Happy Handling Package

Our Happy Handling package is designed to help dogs feel safe, confident, and willing participants in their own care. Whether it’s grooming, nail trims, or veterinary check-ups, this program teaches your dog to actively cooperate rather than simply “tolerate” handling.

Through gentle, positive training, we introduce your dog to the tools and procedures they’re likely to encounter. Step by step, they’ll learn skills such as:

• Resting calmly on a mat or station while being examined.

• Offering a paw for nail trims or blood draws.

• Practicing a chin rest or head hold for grooming and vet checks.

• Accepting brushing, ear cleaning, or stethoscope use with ease.

• Using start/stop signals so your dog has a voice in the process.

• ​Feeling comfortable with being restrained for certain procedures
